I've been asked, in other venues, for this recipe again, because people can't find it. I thought I ought to post it again, and put a permanent link at the top of the page, so people can always find it.

Oh, and by calling it "world's greatest" custard pie, you should realize that I don't think there's any such thing a as really had bad custard pie recipe.

World's Greatest Custard Pie

6 whole eggs
2 cups whole milk
1 cups granulated sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
Dash salt
1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg

Beat until sugar is dissolved, pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 350 degrees in preheated oven for 45 minutes.

Let it cool before slicing it.
