Trump has now produced a governmental birth certificate.
At Newsmax, they report
“Some in the media were challenging my birth certificate,” Trump told Newsmax Tuesday morning in an email. “So I solved the problem in a couple hours: here is my official Department of Health Birth Certificate."
The document produced, however, says it is a copy of his birth certificate. I happened to be at the local Social Security office on Monday, and they were announcing on a big television that they don't accept copies of birth certificates. You have to have an original.
Sheesh, Mr. Trump, can't you do anything right?
Ben Smith, of Politico points out that “Trump’s mother, it should be noted, was born in Scotland, which is not part of the United States. His plane is registered in the Bahamas, also a foreign country. This fact pattern — along with the wave of new questions surrounding what he claims is a birth certificate — raises serious doubts about his eligibility to serve as president of the United States.”
Uh, the plane is registered in the Bahamas? If you are a resident of one state, and you register your car in a different state, or you obtain a driver's license in another state, that's illegal. The guy is bragging about defrauding Khadafi, he's cheating on the taxes due on his airplane, and he wants to run for president? Maybe we can get someone less unamerican!
